Over the recent weeks i have contemplated over certain aspects of my BOW. i had initially intended to include, not only a triptych of paintings, but also a visual diary to go along with it, including drawings of Bill Henson photographs and polaroid photographs taken myself to compliment the drawings and quotes within the diary.
However i have started to realise that the visual diary doesn't really tie in with my paintings. it feels as if they were done by two completely different artists as they don't really use the same mediums or styles. they both have the same concept, but i just don't feel that they work with each other on certain levels.
So i have decided to remove the visual diary from my BOW as i believe that my paintings are enough to convey my concept. Therefore, my BOW will no longer be categorised as a "collection of works" but rather defined as a Painting.
